Join us for the Hometown Heroes banner project launch ! 
The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce ,the Town of Guilderland ,the parks Dept, GPL , VFW and the American Legion Riders have partnered up for this amazing event ! 
We will be unveiling 28 Hometown hero banners that will be on display in the park from April - November. 
The banners will display our Hometown Heroes past and present. Sponsored by families , friends and businesses that believe in supporting our military and veterans. 
This event will be amazing ! 
As well as the banner launch , the American Legion Riders of the Altamont American Legion post has committed to bring in the traveling Vietnam Wall !!!!!! 
The Moving Wall" is the half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial and has been touring the country for thirty plus years 250 feet long. And we are blessed to have it I. Our park for 5 days ! 
Please join us in remembering our heroes! This is a launch for our heroes.
