2022 Guilderland Hometown Heroes

The Town of Guilderland and the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce are partnering to host an Opening Ceremony for the Hometown Heroes Banner Program. This year, we celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the program. We will honor the Hometown Heroes from 2020, 2021 and 2022 at this ceremony. Learn more about the Hometown Hero Honorees.

The program proudly recognizes active duty and veteran service members, both living and deceased. Each banner honors a specific current or former Guilderland, Berne, Knox or Westerlo service person. Banners are located at Tawasentha Park, the Guilderland Public Library and the Guilderland Town Hall.  The banners will be on display from spring through fall and at the conclusion of the 2022 program, the banners will be removed and presented to the family or sponsor or remain with the Chamber for future use.
