On Thursday April 15\, at 4:30 PM the Chamber will host a Ribbon Cutting and Soft Opening for Community Leaders with Mixed Breed Brewing.\n\n\n\nMixed Breed Brewing is founded by five co-founders. The owners are five friends that all live in Guilderland with varying backgrounds in manufacturing\, healthcare\, engineering\, and financial fields\, which gives them a great set of skills to start their own business. Guy Bucey\, majority owner\, started brewing about 15 years ago when he returned home from Fallujah Iraq\, it was a great way for him to deal with some of the issues faced when he returned and acted as a form of therapy. The name Mixed Breed stems from his military roots\, and as people used to call the team a ?mixed breed? with their different backgrounds and diversity. Starting a brewery was always something Bucey had wanted to do and finally life has given him the opportunity. The entire Mixed Breed Brewing Team is excited to welcome you and serve you a pint! \n\n\n\nPlease note\, the grand opening will occur on April 17\, but due to capacity restrictions and health & saftey guideline\, this event is now sold out.
