DESCRIPTION:Local Businesses come together for Charity\n\n \n\nDuring the 2022 holiday season\, Guilderland businesses\, the Altamont Enterprise\, and Phillips Hardware raised funds for the Hilltown Food Pantry\, Altamont Food Pantry\, Guilderland Food Pantry\, and The Caring Closet Guilderland. The Altamont Enterprise helped with the layout and provided in-kind costs of 2 ads with 58 participating local businesses that generated $5\,330 in monetary donations. There was a holiday lights car parade that collected food from Altamont neighborhoods in Phillips Hardware's box truck donated to the Altamont Food Pantry. Phillips Hardware raised $5\,600 to be donated as well. Our region has so many people in need\, it was amazing to see businesses\, the community\, and nonprofits work together to raise over $11\,000. \n\n \n\nWe will be having a check presentation at Phillips Hardware at 6517 Route 158\, Altamont\, NY\, 12009 at 10 am on Thursday\, January 12th.
