(August 23\, 2018)   This year's 25th Annual FAM 5K "Fund" Run/Walk for charity will be held at the Cobleskill Fairgrounds at 10 a.m. on Saturday\, September 22 and supports Cobleskill Regional Hospital. Cobleskill Regional Hospital\, an affiliate of Bassett Healthcare Network\, is a 40-bed\, not-for-profit hospital. It is Schoharie County's only provider of acute inpatient medical care\, emergency care\, short-stay inpatient rehabilitation\, and many other diagnostic and therapeutic services. The mission of Cobleskill Regional Hospital is to serve the community by providing excellent health care in partnership with Bassett Healthcare Network.\n\n\n\nEach year the proceeds from the FAM 5K are donated to one of five different local charities on a rotating basis: Catholic Charities of Delaware\, Otsego\, and Schoharie Counties\; Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care\; Schoharie County ARC\; Schoharie County Community Action Program\; and Cobleskill Regional Hospital. For the past several years\, the FAM 5K has donated about $20\,000 annually.\n\n \n\n"We continue this fall event because these local charities rely on our support. Our goal is to help raise awareness about each organization while providing financial resources\," said Race Director Keith Cataldo.
